Updates for 9-14

Jordan’s siblings are now getting their blood tested for marrow compatibility, unfortunately, it will take two weeks to get the results back. Keep positive!

Jordan has also been given red blood cell transfusions to help his symptoms while they await the test results.

Keep the Sielaffs in your thoughts and prayers!

“Consider it all joy when you encounter various trials..” May you endure this trial Jordan as you will see the perfect result. God only gives us good. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Just keep trusting in Him, for His will is good & acceptable & perfect. If His will is good, than what he has for you is GOOD!!!! Even though these times seem rough, God wont allow you to go through more than you can endure. Keep rejoyceing & I will keep you in our prayers back here in New York.

Dear family in Christ from a sister in Christ at NSBC in Bayside NY, here are words of encouragement and know that prayers to our Great & perfect High Priest Jesus who hears and answers prayer is lifted up for complete healing and that the perfect bone marrow recipient would be found quickly. And I pray all this would happen according to God’s perfect will and timing.

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:15-16 (NIV)

I too was deeply touched by your physical and emotional pain!  I have been praying for Jehovah Rophe (Exodus 15:26) to heal your body completely and for God to be glorified in all the lives that will be (and have been) touched by you and your precious family. May the Spirit comfort you and your family and may the Almighty God give you supernatural strength to withstand these great trials. We will lift you and your family before the throne of grace every day! Gwen and Curt Johnson ( We are friends of your parents in Charlotte at Christ Covenant and Curt, Matt and Erica went to China with your parents last summer)
